“Thank you again for providing the drama camp at our school. Both Will and Tess had a great time! After months of hearing about Will being “withdrawn and sad” at school (not at home) — it was heart warming to see my son the way I remember him . . . outgoing, joking, laughing, happy. I cannot tell you what that means to me.” Evelyn Brown

“My daughter was in the drama camp at Glencoe Elementary over spring break–and she loved it! She came home every day saying it was “terrific” or “really fun,” or “awesome.” I was amazed at her enthusiasm! We were also very impressed with the series of plays the kids performed on the last day. This was an overall great experience for our daughter and she’s very much looking forward to joining the group again next year. So, our overall rating is an enthusiastic 10 out of 10.”–Ellen Rubenstein

“This camp was a ten! Great for my kids, they were kind of dreading it at first–just the idea of the unknown. But they enjoyed it more as each day went on. We have had skits performed every night at our house. I loved it! Thanks for a wonderful experience.” Mary Brennock

The Young Players announces a 2011 Summer Camp Experience!

If you only choose one summer camp for your child this year, this is it!
Kids write, cast, rehearse and perform their very own play in this innovative workshop.
Led by a team of highly talented directors, kids are inspired to tell their own stories
or act out their favorite stories and perform them for you at the end of the week.
Kids create their own set, costumes and props, and every young actor
receives a colorful, meaningful part.

Camps are offered the first two weeks of summer at
your own school or a school near you.

Below is a list of schools where we are offering summer camps in 2011.
They are divided by area. You are welcome to register for a camp that is not taking
place in your own child’s school.

When individual camps do not fill, we
combine campers into the nearest school.

Below is a list of summer camp locations divided by areas, showing the schools
where we have set up camps. The first set of schools is the early camp,
taking place the week after kids get out of school. The next list of camps happens the
second week kids are out for summer.

We will also be adding camps held in partnership with other organizations,
such as a special Lake Oswego Community Schools Camp for only $175!
Registration for this camp is open to everyone.
Camp details and dates are further down on the page.

To register, go to our home page and click on the REGISTER button. Choose the
week and area you would like. You may choose your preferred school during the
registration process, but be aware that it may happen at a school close to
you based on how many kids enroll.
