The Young Players delivers high quality dramatic
education to elementary and middle schools.
Our after-school workshops are designed to fit
easily into the lives of busy families, giving
kids a chance to participate in drama right
where they already learn. The workshops are
usually funded by parents through individual
enrollments, so no school budget funds are needed
to offer our programs.
Our workshops inspire Players to become more
intuitive, imaginative, and collaborative. Each
class is designed to give kids an immediate
positive experience of performing! We invite
family and friends to attend a "performance
in progress" during the last half hour
of the final class, and parents and educators
are often astounded at the transformation many
children make during the course of our workshops.
The Young Players staff is made up of licensed
drama teachers and professional actors with
many years experience teaching drama to kids.
We believe that drama is for everyone! Shy children
can become more outgoing in a safe, positive
environment, and outgoing children can learn
to focus their creative energy.
